A lifetime drug-felony rule
FNS’s State Options Report lists South Carolina as one of the few states that still applies the federal lifetime disqualification to people convicted of a drug felony after August 1996. If that applies to you, the rest of your household can still get SNAP, but your income counts while you are not counted in the household size.
