Tribal nations and summer food
USDA’s Summer EBT page notes that the Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Muscogee Creek and Otoe-Missouria nations issue summer grocery benefits to eligible children living on tribal land in Oklahoma, regardless of tribal membership. Under the 2025 law, members of federally recognized tribes are also excepted from the SNAP time limit for adults 18–64.
